Ecommerce development and online stores in Spain
We build online stores for retailers, brands and wholesalers selling in Spain. A store on your own domain connects products, payments, inventory, delivery and customer service. Our Madrid team works in English, Spanish and Chinese, mainly on our own ecommerce platform and also on Shopify when a project calls for it.
Discuss your projectProject scope
We define products, variants, markets, languages, currencies, stock ownership and order processing. Payments and shipping are configured to the agreed scope; ERP, POS and external platforms require an API review. B2B requirements may include customer-specific prices, trade accounts and quotation requests, with feasibility and cost checked before development.
How we work
We agree the purchase journey and data structure, then validate product selection, cart and mobile checkout. Launch checks cover agreed payment outcomes, cancellations, notifications, stock and refunds. Store migrations need a separate plan for product URLs, 301 redirects and data reconciliation to preserve useful routes and records.
Websites and ecommerce by business sector
Grocers need units and delivery rules; salons need services and scheduling; fashion stores need variants and stock. These pages explain practical requirements for businesses in Spain. Other sectors can be assessed around their own workflows.

Move from platform selling to operating your own store
Your own domain gives you control over brand presentation and customer experience, but does not automatically generate traffic. If you already sell in a physical shop or marketplace, establish which system owns stock, who processes orders and how prices stay consistent. Product information, delivery areas and support need to be clear for customers in Spain.
Ecommerce SEO for categories and product pages
Categories help customers choose a product type; product pages explain attributes, uses and availability. We plan navigation, crawlable links, pagination and filter indexation. Structured data should match visible prices and stock. Multilingual stores need language URLs and hreflang. GEO content addresses specific buying questions with information the business can substantiate.
Test the complete order journey, then measure
Acceptance should cover browsing through payment and after-sales operations, as well as design. Check mobile checkout, delivery rules and order-stock consistency against the agreed configuration. Handover includes accounts and operating procedures. Use Search Console, consented analytics and order records to distinguish acquisition, navigation and payment problems.
What to check before launch
- Catalogue structure: attributes, images, languages, stock ownership and migration fields.
- Product, cart, payment outcome, delivery and notification acceptance checks.
- SEO and migration plan: category and product URLs, canonical, filters and required redirects.
- Operating handover: product editing, refunds, integration limits and recurring costs.
This list guides planning and acceptance. Included features, integrations and support are defined in the agreed proposal.
Service questions
Your platform or Shopify?
We mainly use our own ecommerce platform: B2B pricing, inventory and POS connections are tailored to your business, with hosting and maintenance billed monthly, detailed in your quote. If you already use Shopify or prefer its admin, we build or migrate your store on Shopify too. We review catalogue, workflow and budget before recommending an option.
How much does an online store cost and how long does it take?
Catalogue size, variants, design, languages, payments, shipping, migration and integrations determine the work. Share your existing site and systems so we can define phases, dependencies and costs separately from platform, app and payment fees.
Can the store share stock with a physical shop?
Yes. We check the ERP or POS APIs and permissions, then define which system owns stock, how often it syncs and how errors are handled.
Does an online store need SEO after launch?
Yes. SEO helps Google understand your categories and products and brings steady organic traffic; ads and existing customers also bring visits. After launch we review search, checkout and sales data and keep improving.
Can you build a Chinese and Spanish online store?
We can plan Spanish, Chinese and English versions to match the project. Product information, language switching, prices, stock and hreflang references need consistent maintenance and defined owners.
